“Hindi pala talaga sumusuko si Lord sa pag pursue sa mga naglalayas na tupa.”

Several years ago, I was fervently praying for a dear relative who had been wandering away from the Lord with all her wounds and hopelessness.

Yesterday, in the church, just when I was approaching the stairs to the choirloft, God had a blissful surprise.

What an overwhelming joy and delight it was for me when that the precious relative I’ve prayed for, called my name from the other side of the church and merrily told me that she is now back in serving as part of a ministry in our parish after several years of being away. Not only did she come back to the church, but she returned to serving the Lord, joyfully and courageously.

Oh, how my soul was joyfully stunned to witness how ecstatic and determined she is to keep on serving kahit pa hindi madali sa kanya ang ibang mga bagay. Praise and bless the Lord, the Good Shepherd who never stops pursuing each of us!

And even before I realized that I needed to share this happiness to someone, just before that day ended, a dear friend checked on me out of the blue and asked, “what was the best thing that happened to you today?”.

Perhaps, the Lord knew what my heart could not contain. This great news of a prodigal child coming back to the Lord is something I could not just keep to myself. The greatness of the Lord is meant to be shared.

This young lady’s coming back ‘home’ is a testimony of God’s unrelenting love and faithfulness. I pray that her healing process would continue and that she will be protected and guided.

Because of this, I am more encouraged than ever to not lose hope in and to keep praying for each wandering soul. πŸ™πŸ»πŸ«ΆπŸ»πŸŒ»
