Naturally, I would avoid pain at all cost. So, I often try to brush it off as quickly as I can, making myself believe na okay na ako.

But what I realize is that, in order for my interior wound to be completely healed, I need to go through the process with integrity instead of ignoring the issue para hindi na lang masaktan.

The same with growth. It takes time and it takes bravely going through the steps, gradually and authentically without shortcuts.

“If you want to grow in love and in holiness, you need to allow yourself to face the truth in you–no matter how ugly and difficult it may be. Then, you’ll conquer. You’ll thrive. With Me. I’m just here.”, the Lord says to me.

Naalala ko tuloy yung kinaaaliwan kong kanta when I was little, “You can’t hurry love.” 😁
Pati yung “You can’t get to no better days
Unless you make it through the night.” 🤗
